Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Specialist to join our team at AKT Peerless. This role will involve conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, field sampling, and assisting with environmental project management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, and at least 3 years of experience in Phase I and II ESA and site investigation. Experience with Michigan Environmental Regulations is also essential.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as a 401(k) savings plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Phase I ESAs to ASTM standards
  • Conduct Phase II ESAs
  • Maintain existing client base and cultivate new prospects
  • Understand due diligence and Michigan regulations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of each project's status and goals
  • Perform tasks across multiple disciplines to achieve successful project completion
  • Provide quality environmental support services
  • Respond to customers in a timely manner
