Salary
The salary for this role is estimated to be between $19.78 and $30.21 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (LPN) to join our emergency department team at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in the acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department or inpatient area using established standards of care
- Collaborate with registered nurses to ensure effective patient management
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Practical Nursing Formal Education approved by the NM Board of Nursing
- Licensed Practical Nurse-NM
- BLS required
- PDS IV Certification course within orientation period
- Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias (BCA) certification for areas where cardiac telemetry monitoring is used
- ACLS certification within 6 months of being hired for areas where required
