Job Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining and building relationships with key decision-makers, reviewing trends with buyers weekly, and implementing season profitability plans. The ideal candidate will be comfortable growing a business and selling to major department stores, online retailers, and off-price accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and build relationships with key decision-makers, including buyers and merchandisers.
- Review weekly sales performance and implement season profitability plans.
- Meet internal sales and margin goals monthly.
- Influence company inventory and coordinate merchandising efforts.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of customer service and production teams.
- Ability to perform complex verbal and written communications face-to-face and in group settings.
- Ability to work in a multi-task, high-pressure environment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and time management skills essential.
- Strong follow-up and completion skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- 5-7 years of experience in a related field, with current experience in Young Contemporary and Women's Private Label.
- Must have current relationships with retailers such as Macy's, Dillard's, Kohl's, Belk, JC Penney, and big box Walmart and Target.
