Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic

UPS is currently hiring Building and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Mechanics to perform maintenance activities at our package handling facilities. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills, with a focus on troubleshooting and repairing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including AC and DC systems, motors, and conveyor belts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on plant equipment, including conveyors and power industrial equipment.
  • Weld equipment and perform other mechanical tasks as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with routine interaction with other hub employees.
Requirements:
  • Strong electrical and mechanical background, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift in a 24 x 7 operation.
  • Must pass electrical assessment.
