Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the eICU Virtual Care program. As a pivotal member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in managing the care of adult or geriatric patients experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with completing admissions, care plan development and maintenance, patient education, medication and discharge teaching, care coordination, mentoring of new nurses, and implementation of evidence-based care.
- Assist the primary bedside nurse with nursing tasks not required to be done in person, as well as real-time quality and patient safety surveillance.
- Maintain a wide array of medical care knowledge to care for a diverse group of patients.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two years previous nursing experience in an ICU, charge nurse or preceptor experience and specialty nursing certification preferred.
- Skills: Accountable and responsible for own safe clinical practice, basic computer skills and knowledge, excellent customer service skills, thrives in rapidly changing environment, self-motivated, excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrates effective leadership abilities, exhibits valuable time management skills, strong critical thinking/problem solving skills, flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: RN license active in the state of Missouri, BLS must be obtained within 90 days, ACLS must be obtained within one year of hire.
