The Critical Care Nurse provides direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients in a highly technical and ongoing monitoring environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the patient's condition and perform diagnostic tests
- Begin treatments and assist doctors with required medical procedures
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Experience: Preferred: Previous nursing experience
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective leadership abilities, valuable time management skills, strong critical thinking/problem solving skills, flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: RN license active in the state of Missouri, BLS must be obtained within 90 days, ACLS within one year of hire
- Student loan repayment available for qualified candidates
