Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Comprehensive Community Action. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of our facilities, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience working with basic tools, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair work. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all facilities, including offices, hallways, and common areas
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems
  • Identify and address any safety hazards or issues that may arise
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair; experience working with CCAP a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
