About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Comprehensive Community Action Program. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of our buildings, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and clients.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Ensure all office spaces and hallways are kept clean and tidy.
  • Perform routine painting, minor repairs, and other related maintenance activities.
  • Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Notify management of major repair needs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilation equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with basic tools, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair work.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Ability to identify issues and perform tasks accurately.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn accounting software.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance.
