Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team at WMU Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine.

About the Role

This position will involve providing inpatient and outpatient care to pediatric patients with orthopaedic conditions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop and refine our Pediatric Orthopaedic service line, improve acute care coverage for pediatric patients, and enhance multidisciplinary outpatient clinic services for patients with neuromuscular diseases and syndromes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to pediatric patients with orthopaedic conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric patients with orthopaedic conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients
  • Participate in medical education and research activities
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency and Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery fellowship program
  • Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Michigan
  • Board eligible or board certified
