Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon

The WMU Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our esteemed team. As a board certified or board eligible specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our Pediatric Orthopaedic service line.

• Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient care to pediatric patients with orthopaedic conditions.
• Develop and refine our Pediatric Orthopaedic service line, including acute care coverage and multidisciplinary clinic services.
• Collaborate with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine to enhance patient care.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents in pediatric orthopaedic surgery.
• Pursue research opportunities in basic science and clinical research.

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency and Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery fellowship program.
• Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Michigan.
• Board eligibility or certification.
