About the Job

CPS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Banner Lassen Medical Center. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting licensed pharmacists with various pharmacy activities, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, deliver, and restock medications
  • Perform order entry and procurement of drugs
  • Process billing and perform sterile compounding
  • Carry out job duties according to written procedures and guidelines
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • Pharmacy Technician certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Pharmacy experience, beyond the externship, in a hospital or retail pharmacy (hospital preferred)
  • Proficient in math and able to lift, bend, and reach
  • Sterile compounding experience preferred
  • Quick learner with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and skilled in multi-tasking
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Hospital Requirements
  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps, and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Tdap
  • Hep B (series or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • A Physical
