About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to join our team at PF Miami Developers LLC. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fitness center, ensuring a high-quality experience for our members, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead a team of employees in a positive and motivating manner
    • Provide continuous assistance in employee training and development
  • Club Operations
    • Manage day-to-day club operations to ensure an exceptional member experience
    • Track club and employee statistics and reports
  • Customer Service
    • Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests
    • Ensure staff follow superior customer service guidelines
  • Recruitment and Training
    • Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees
    • Delegate responsibilities to club staff and enforce all PF policies and procedures
  • Financial Management
    • Administration and processing of all weekly/bi-weekly employee payroll
    • Ensure payroll is within budget
Requirements
  • 1+ years of Customer Service experience
  • 2-3 years of experience supervising and leading a team
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Associate or bachelor's degree are preferred
  • Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong problem resolution skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to continuously talk in person or on the phone during shift
