Job Overview

A prominent community healthcare facility is in search of a dedicated payroll specialist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the bi-weekly payroll processing utilizing UKG Dimension and Meditech 6.7, ensuring accurate withholding, positive payroll, and tax report generation.
  • Generate various payroll reports, including adjustments and special payments on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Prepare payroll checks and direct deposit notifications for distribution.
  • Compile, distribute, and file W-2 forms, while transmitting payroll reports to financial institutions.
  • Engage with banks to resolve payroll discrepancies and conduct daily reviews of Positive Pay files.
  • Prepare and submit monthly union dues, funds, and related reports.
  • Confirm and dispatch bi-weekly withholding checks.
  • Handle all special check requests as needed.
  • Address inquiries from management and employees via phone and email.
  • Generate payroll reports for grant vouchering and other requested documentation.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, along with annual audits.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in payroll processing.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Solid understanding of General Accounting and Payroll principles.

Salary Range: $77,000 - $83,000
