About the Role

As an Archaeological Specialist at Stantec, you will play a critical role in leading our team's efforts in cultural resources management and environmental consulting. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage tasks and projects according to approved scopes of work, and deliver high-quality reports on schedule and within budget.
  • Client and Regulator Interface: Interact and interface with clients and environmental regulators to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSSE) Policies: Participate in HSSE policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines in the execution of all work.
  • Team Leadership: Provide supervision, training, technical direction, and mentoring to more junior staff.
  • Travel: Travel up to 20% of the time for local and regional assignments.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in archaeological surveys, testing, evaluation, construction monitoring, and report writing.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as archaeology, anthropology, or environmental science.
  • Credentials: Good driving record and valid driver's license required.
