Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Coordinator Medical Office Nursing to join our team at UNC Family Medicine at Southpoint. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for coordinating all clinical care within our clinics to ensure optimal patient flow, safety, and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical assignments for each day and clinic to ensure timely patient flow and excellent patient care.
  • Work with physicians, APPs, and other staff to provide a dynamic and user-friendly practice environment.
  • Ensure that care/service delivered to each patient is appropriate and in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies.
  • Document patient care records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and APPs to customize their clinics to meet the unique needs of their patient population.
Requirements
  • Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree (ADN), or Bachelor's Degree (BSN) in Nursing.
  • BLS certification required. Licensed to practice as RN in North Carolina.
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience with at least one (1) year as a RN in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred.

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week. The salary range is $43.10 per hour (hiring range). Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.
