In this executive role, you will be responsible for leading the engineering teams that drive our AI and machine learning initiatives, ensuring that we remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market. You will define the strategic direction, oversee research and development, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Your leadership will enable us to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance user experiences and optimize organizational performance. Responsibilities
  1. Define the vision and strategic direction for machine learning and AI engineering at WerQ AI.
  2. Lead, mentor, and inspire multiple engineering teams, fostering an environment of innovation and technical excellence.
  3. Collaborate with product leadership and stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives and user needs.
  4. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable machine learning models and AI solutions.
  5. Drive best practices in engineering processes, ensuring the highest quality in code, architecture, and deployment.
  6. Develop and manage relationships with external partners, academic institutions, and technology vendors.
  7. Actively participate in industry conferences, publications, and forums to represent WerQ AI's thought leadership in AI and machine learning.
  8. Ensure compliance with ethical AI practices and governance in all engineering projects.
Minimum Requirements
  1. 12+ years of experience in software engineering and AI/machine learning, with significant leadership experience in an executive role.
  2. Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale AI initiatives and engineering teams.
  3. Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  4. Deep understanding of AI technologies, data science, and best practices in model deployment and scalability.
  5. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  6. Experience with Agile methodologies and a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  7. A passion for advancing AI and machine learning technologies and a commitment to ethical practices in technology development.
