Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Carmeuse. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and optimize production processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of company assets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with 5+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
