Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to patients under the supervision of the physician, ensuring continuity and appropriate care.
- Triage patients by phone and as walk-ins, escorting them to exam rooms and monitoring patient flow.
- Access patient reports, prepare patient charts, and obtain vital signs/medication lists.
- Perform office procedures, assist providers with minor clinical procedures, and manage prescriptions.
- Schedule diagnostic tests and procedures, obtain patient referrals, and perform administrative duties.
- Communicate patient status and reactions to interventions with RNs, physicians, patients, and families.
- May administer medications, injections, and immunizations, utilizing office and lab equipment.
