Job Summary

Unavailable is seeking a skilled RN Cardiology to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those with heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address any identified concerns.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.

Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication use, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including progress notes and medication administration records.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in cardiovascular nursing practice, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.

Requirements

A valid RN license issued by the State of California.

A minimum of one year acute care experience.

ACLS, BLS, and Basic EKG certifications.

Basic Dysrhythmia Certification; LA City Fire Safety Training (within 90 days from date of hire)
