Job Title: Foreman

At PURIS Corporation, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, the Foreman will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily activities with designated crews and their helpers.
  • Communicate project and staffing needs to the Superintendent.
  • Engage in construction trades work as needed.
  • Recognize and communicate priority projects or problems to the Superintendent or Project Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Assign daily work activities to employees based on material and worker requirements data.
  • Oversee work crews to achieve top-quality workmanship, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
  • Review and verify employee time sheets and submit to the Superintendent on specified days.
  • Submit job reports to the Superintendent in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Analyze and resolve worker problems and recommend motivational plans.
  • Regularly communicate with maintenance staff about repair and maintenance needs on major equipment.
  • Relate to the public and customers in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
  • Help establish work priorities in conjunction with the supervisor.
  • Plan work to be performed by the crew and assist in resolving on-the-job technical problems.
  • Arrange for necessary tools and supplies.
  • Inspect, coordinate, and record work performed by the crew.
  • Complete time slips for work done and assign time and material charges to appropriate account numbers.
  • Refer problems involving job discipline to the supervisor for handling.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in crew management and good communication skills.
  • Ability to be proactive and troubleshoot.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe.
  • Physical fitness to perform maintenance and heavy lifting assignments.
