Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced construction laborer to join our team at Jon M. Hall Company. As a construction laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on construction sites, including operating hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, and loading and unloading construction supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, and skid loaders.
  • Clean and prepare construction sites, including removing debris and waste materials.
  • Shovel materials to and from construction areas, including asphalt and dirt.
  • Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly.
  • Load and unload construction supplies from trucks.
  • Report incidents immediately to safety director, foreman, or HR.
  • Travel out of town to work on remote job sites as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Provide proper authorization to work in the U.S. documentation.
  • One or more years of experience in construction.
  • Ability to travel out of town during the week or on weekends.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment.
  • Must be able to read and write English.

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
