Position Overview:

Our client, a prominent eCommerce Marketplace brand, is in search of a design-focused Curation Design Associate to enhance their Marketing team. This role is pivotal in supporting the curation and merchandising of innovative shopping experiences across various cross-category events and marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the Curation Manager, the ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of product and shopping trends, and comprehensive knowledge of market and cross-category brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate and select products for feature display, providing merchandising and styling guidance to collaborative teams.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to uncover consumer trends and opportunities for content development.
  • Work alongside marketing, product, and creative teams to define and enhance ongoing content strategies, including automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in graphic design, market editing, or a related field.
  • Ability to function both strategically and tactically in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of coordinating projects across various functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, editorial, design, and legal.
  • Expertise in design and visual appeal, with a solid background in market editing and/or product curation.
  • Experience in a customer-facing editorial or similar creative, marketing, or merchandising role within a consumer publication or retail organization.
  • Extensive understanding of the contemporary retail landscape, brands, and consumer trends.
  • Proficiency in social media and influencer marketing, with knowledge of specific influencers across demographic segments.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
