We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team at Ion Storage Systems. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for executing Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives to ensure a safe, efficient, and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate health and safety practices and processes in accordance with Ion Storage Systems Plans and Policies
- Assure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations
- Maintain EHS permits and licenses
- Monitor safety equipment inventory and order as needed
- Develop, implement, and evaluate multiple OSHA-required safety programs
- Conduct safety audits and create formal reports
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions
- Create EHS training programs as needed
- Liaise with consultants and regulatory bodies
- Bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety or related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing EHS role
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
- Strong communication and diplomacy skills
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Strong auditing skills
- Ability to author SOPs
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
