Life Changing Elevator Apprentice

Job Summary:

Lifeway Mobility Holdings LLC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Elevator Apprentice to join our team. As an Elevator Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading nationwide provider of accessibility solutions, enabling individuals with accessibility needs to remain in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair accessibility products, including elevators and platform lifts
  • Explain products to customers and answer questions
  • Enter work order and inventory data in the Lifeway computer system
  • Receive manufacturer training and on-the-job training
  • Pick up and load company vehicle at our location each morning
  • Work on jobs throughout CT and RI
  • Work on both residential and commercial installations
  • Jobs may take several hours to several days (weekends optional)

Requirements:

  • Experience in residential or commercial installation of mechanical/electrical equipment
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background screen
  • Ability to drive company vehicle to various client sites and work flexible hours as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs
  • Frequent overhead work
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round
  • Ability to climb ladders, crouch, and occasionally work in confined spaces and at height
