Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Elevator Technician Apprentice to join our team. As an Elevator Technician Apprentice, you will play a critical role in installing and repairing accessibility products, including elevators and platform lifts. You will work closely with our experienced technicians to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair accessibility products, including elevators and platform lifts
  • Explain product features and benefits to customers and answer questions
  • Enter work order and inventory data into our computer system
  • Receive manufacturer training and on-the-job training
  • Pick up and load company vehicle at our location each morning
  • Work on jobs throughout our service area
  • Work on both residential and commercial installations
Requirements
  • Experience in residential or commercial installation of mechanical/electrical equipment
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background screen
  • Ability to drive company vehicle to various client sites and work flexible hours as needed
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds
  • Frequent overhead work
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round
  • Ability to climb ladders, crouch, and occasionally work in confined spaces and at height
