We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at MAB Community Services. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, blindness or visual impairment, and autism.

Job Summary

This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. The successful candidate will work closely with our nursing and psychiatry teams to coordinate patient care services, including scheduling appointments, tracking health data, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling appointments, including annual physicals, dental visits, and specialty consultations
  • Tracking annual physical, dental, and eye appointments
  • Coordinating on-site dental and immunization clinics
  • Monitoring and updating appointment lists on SharePoint
  • Assisting students with procedures and appointments (labs, EKG, EEG, eye exams, dental procedures, x-rays, or surgery)

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a safe driving record and valid US driver's license. First Aid and CPR certifications are also required. Medical Assistant certification is preferred. At least one year of patient care experience, preferably in Psychiatry, is essential for this role.

Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum
