Job Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Clinical Documentation Specialists. This role provides invaluable experience for aspiring Pre-PA, Nursing, and Medical School Candidates.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in clinical documentation and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, you will observe physician-patient interactions and provide real-time clinical documentation.

You will have the opportunity to work directly with physicians, patients, and the clinical care team. On-site training is provided, and certification is NOT required.

Responsibilities:
  • Observe physician-patient interactions to provide real-time clinical documentation
  • Master the use of electronic health records, medical terminology, and clinical documentation
  • Integrate onto a clinical team for direct exposure to patient-provider interactions
Requirements:

We are looking for candidates who are motivated, eager to learn, customer-oriented, and flexible. The following qualifications are required:

  • Minimum age: 19 years old
  • Commitment: Minimum of 2-3 shifts/clinics per week, about 20 hours per week for 1 year
  • Transportation: Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
  • Typing skills: Minimum 60 words per minute
  • Education: College-level biology, anatomy, and/or medical terminology preferred
  • Experience: Exposure to clinical environment preferred, but not required
