Position: Transportation Infrastructure Inspector

About the Role:
As a Transportation Infrastructure Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to supervise and evaluate transportation projects, ensuring that contractors adhere to contractual obligations, plans, and specifications. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring contractor activities and operations
- Conducting materials sampling and testing
- Preparing detailed reports
- Documenting financial transactions related to project payments
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of construction or inspection experience, OR a 2-year technical degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Possession of WV TRET Certification or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe
- Capability to lift weights ranging from 40 to 50 lbs
- Proficient math and technical writing skills
