We are currently seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at CDM Smith. As a key member of our Transportation Construction, Engineering and Inspection group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform complex inspections of construction activities to evaluate compliance with plans, specifications, and special provisions.
- Use advanced equipment and perform complex calculations to ensure accurate inspections.
- Work under limited supervision or direct supervision, depending on the assignment.
- Review drawings and plans to prepare for construction inspections.
- Document and communicate inspection results to supervisors.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications from a State Highway Agency or National Entity, such as ACI or NICET, in earthwork, asphalt, and concrete (if required by the client or jurisdiction).
- Valid driver's license.
- 4 years of related experience.
