Join our team as a Healthcare Assistant Professional at The Center for Orthopedic and Research Excellence As a medical assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare professionals.

Job Summary

This role requires a medical assistant with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, able to effectively interact with patients, providers, and staff members. The ideal candidate will possess a certificate of completion from an accredited medical assisting program or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Facilitate communication between patients and providers, prepare patients for visits, and provide education to patients as indicated by the provider.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete tasks associated with company initiatives, maintain exam room standards, monitor biohazard and sharps containers, and assist with preparing patient prescriptions and completing medical forms.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities, such as PROs and Quality Payment Programs.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program or LPN license.
  • Experience: Medical assistant experience preferred.

The Center for Orthopedic and Research Excellence offers a competitive salary, including a sign-on bonus of $500, additional bonuses of $500 after 6 months, competitive health and welfare benefits, and a monthly stipend of $43 for ancillary benefits. We estimate the salary for this position to be around $52,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
