We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Concentra. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients by performing routine x-ray examinations and supporting other medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including escorting them to dressing and x-ray rooms and providing verbal and written instructions.
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure patient and team member safety.
- Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order and report any malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
- Follow all radiology workflows and ensure accurate documentation of patient x-ray visits.
- Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and performing ancillary testing.
- Assist providers during examinations and treatment.
- Responsible for performing routine medical procedures as ordered by the treating clinician.
- Prepare and assist clinicians with procedure setup and injury care.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
- Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- At least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
