The Senior Procurement Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing medium to high criticality materials, equipment, and subcontracting sourcing initiatives. This position demands an "expert level" understanding of procurement processes and methodologies. The Senior Procurement Specialist is tasked with formulating negotiation strategies, delegating responsibilities, and mentoring less experienced colleagues, such as Procurement Coordinators. Furthermore, this role encompasses sourcing activities during pre-mobilization phases, providing estimating support during the Deal Development stage, and overseeing Procurement Execution throughout the project lifecycle, from RFP solicitation to contract award. Proficiency in conducting commercial analyses of bidders' proposals, drafting and submitting award recommendations, and facilitating bidder conferences is essential. Additionally, the Senior Procurement Specialist will engage with suppliers on awarded contracts, maintain communication with key stakeholders, and ensure transparency with the Project Management Team (PMT).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sourcing activities effectively

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering
  • 2-5 years of experience in purchasing
  • Experience in sourcing for large EPC projects
  • At least 2 years of experience in industrial construction subcontract negotiation and sourcing within the $1MM to $10MM range
  • Familiarity with Deal Development, Estimating, and Project Execution
  • Experience in mentoring, training, or leading a team
