Job Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely delivery of blood and blood products. The ideal candidate will have experience in directing staff, office management or dispatcher roles.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to coordinate logistics and transportation operations for our blood center. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate logistics and transportation schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Direct drivers and operations to meet time parameters on all shipments, pickups, and donor centers.
  • Manage vehicle and fleet equipment issues, including coordinating with mechanic shops and towing providers.


Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred. Experience: Three years of experience in directing staff, office management or dispatcher is required. Knowledge: Familiarity with DOT regulations (hours of service) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Salary and Benefits:
The proposed hourly salary for this role is $28.00/hr. to $30.00/hr., commensurate with the applicant's skills and experience.
