Job Overview:
The Echocardiography Specialist, under the supervision of the lead clinical provider and in partnership with the Cardiology Practice Manager, is tasked with executing echocardiographic assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct echocardiograms as prescribed, utilizing appropriate ultrasound methodologies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Ensure the upkeep and functionality of echocardiography equipment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Certification as RDCS (ARDMS), RCS (CCI), or CRCS (CARDUP) is mandatory within one year of employment.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Echocardiography or equivalent educational background.

Technical Proficiencies:
  • Maintain echocardiography services in accordance with industry standards.
  • Oversee daily technical operations of the laboratory.
  • Instruct and position patients for procedures.
  • Facilitate the copying of studies for review as necessary.
  • Manage equipment and supply inventory.
