Job Title: Home Health Registered Nurse RN

At KidsCare Home Health, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Home Health Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced RN to provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, and educate patients and their families on specific details of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in their homes, following a physician's orders and adhering to state, federal, and national accreditation commission regulations.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and document timely, clear, and accurate clinical notes.
  • Notify the RN Case Manager of any changes in the patient's condition and collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure patients receive quality care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on specific details of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention, and use appropriate infection control procedures and safety measures.
Qualifications:
  • Current State Registered Nursing License or compact license where applicable.
  • One (1) Year Home Health Experience.
  • One (1) Year Pediatric Experience.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Reliable Transportation.
Working Environment:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The position requires regular bending, reaching, standing, stooping, sitting, twisting, talking, and hearing, as well as the ability to push and pull 50 pounds, support 50 pounds of weight, and lift 50 pounds.
