About the Role:

We are excited to announce a career opportunity for an experienced Insurance Agent to join our team at Cross Pointe Insurance. As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will play a vital role in selling insurance products to individuals or businesses, offering various insurance plans and packages, and assessing the needs of customers to provide suitable coverage.

This position requires a strong understanding of insurance products and usages, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and developing new clients, building strong relationships, and contributing to agency growth.

Key responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, qualifying, and developing personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
  • Fostering and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and prospects through regular follow-up, timely quotations, and general account support.
  • Supporting and preparing clients for renewal and retention, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved and executing sales activity documentation in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Collaborating with team members, mentoring staff, providing expertise, and answering questions, and participating in formal and informal meetings as needed.

Qualifications include:

Requirements:

  • Active Property & Casualty license required.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain an existing client base.
  • Being people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients.
  • Possessing outstanding organizational skills with the ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Having excellent time management skills, thriving in a team environment, and technology and computer proficiency including agency management systems.

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
