Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, integrate, test, and document software for flight simulator applications
  • Gather flight test data and formulate maintenance strategies
  • Create Qualification Test Guides for the validation of flight dynamics models
  • Engage in customer acceptance testing and regulatory qualification activities
  • Conduct hardware/software integration and testing for flight training devices

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and integrating flight dynamic models
  • Familiarity with the creation of Qualification Test Guides
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Solid understanding of longitudinal and lateral-directional flight dynamics
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, particularly propulsion and flight controls
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Linux/Unix; Shell scripting is advantageous
  • Experience in flight testing is a plus
