Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team at Friendship Community Care. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing behavioral support services to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior support plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and functional analyses to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff members.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior support plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in behavior analysis or related field.
  • BCBA certification.
  • At least three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
