About The Role

The Senior Operations Manager, Warehouse is crucial to the success of our regional hub, leading team activities to meet performance objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Your responsibilities will include overseeing regional sorting facilities and driver launch operations, while mentoring and guiding supervisors and associates.

You will manage the operation's profit and loss (P&L), oversee logistics, and focus on continuous improvement processes. Additionally, you will prioritize safety within the warehouse environment, championing compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a high-performing team of supervisors and associates to ensure exceptional quality, speed, and service in daily operations.
  • Coach and mentor team members to facilitate career advancement.
  • Leverage data in collaboration with the General Manager to identify and implement operational enhancements.
  • Establish programs that promote customer satisfaction, timely deliveries, and safety.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships across Market, Region, and Central Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with Client Operations to exceed client expectations as their last-mile delivery partner.
  • Promote safety compliance and monitor incidents within the operational markets.
  • Lead with values of transparency, teamwork, accountability, and humanity.
  • Work collaboratively to recruit, retain, coach, and develop talent within the operation.
  • Engage in client retention and pursue new client acquisition opportunities.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to expand market share.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability in warehouse operations, managing increased complexity.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 6-8 years of experience in warehouse operations management.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience leading and managing teams, with over 6 years in complex logistics operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, and last-mile delivery.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (including Vlookups and Pivot Tables).
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes (up to 50 lbs), and perform bending tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
