Role Summary:
As a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients in an acute care environment. Our facility is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the community we serve.

We are looking for a proactive and engaged professional who is adept at managing caseloads, collaborating with healthcare teams, and is committed to continuous learning.
For recent graduates or those transitioning into acute care, we provide a comprehensive mentorship program to facilitate your integration into the hospital environment.
This position requires weekend availability, and we strive to create a schedule that accommodates both your needs and those of the department. Additional compensation is provided for evening and weekend shifts.
Under the guidance of the rehabilitation manager, you will be responsible for administering and documenting a full spectrum of physical therapy treatments and assessments for diverse patient populations.
Please note that candidates must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment health screening, including a drug test.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in acute care settings or completion of student affiliations that meet entry-level competency standards as defined by APTA.
A degree from an accredited program in physical therapy assisting is required, along with the ability to sit for the board examination.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential.
Tenet adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding workforce vaccination mandates. If offered the position, you may be required to provide proof of vaccination or obtain an exemption based on religious or medical grounds.
Should you receive an exemption, regular testing may be required in compliance with applicable laws.
