Job Summary

Waste Pro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Load Driver to join our team. As a Front Load Driver, you will be responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned and special routes to pick up garbage. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned and special routes to pick up garbage
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck checks and cleaning
  • Empty containers using levers inside the truck cab
  • Transport waste to designated local landfills/disposal areas
  • Complete route/productivity sheets, records mileage, fuel consumption, log book, and other forms
  • Communicate professionally with customers and report any customer issues/complaints to appropriate internal contacts
Requirements
  • Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a safe driving record
  • Must be able to lift independently (unassisted) 50 pounds from the ground to waist height
  • Must be able to push or pull independently (unassisted) 50 pounds between a day
  • Must be able to work 8 to 12 hours in extreme weather conditions
Work Environment

As a Front Load Driver, you will work in a variety of environment conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations. You will be exposed to noise and vibrations, fumes, odors, and dust. You must be able to work safely and efficiently in these conditions.
