Your Future Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable Senior Accountant to become a vital part of our Finance and Real Estate division. This role encompasses a variety of financial and accounting responsibilities, focusing on precise financial reporting, adherence to regulatory standards, and maintaining financial controls. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in accounting principles, financial analysis, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare intricate journal entries and perform account reconciliations with thorough evaluation of results.
  • Examine general ledger transactions throughout the month to enhance month-end closing timelines and ensure the accuracy and completeness of recorded information.
  • Independently address accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and suggest actions to improve financial performance.
  • Analyze actual results across various reporting segments and provide explanations for variances compared to plans and previous years.
  • Coordinate and facilitate annual financial audits, ensuring all audit requirements and inquiries are addressed.
  • Refine financial processes to boost efficiency and accuracy, implementing best practices to enhance financial operations.
  • Recommend enhancements to internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to junior accounting personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with various teams to guarantee accurate financial data flow throughout the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA Certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Proficient in accounting software (ERP systems).
