As a Senior Manager, Political Affairs at the American Academy of Family Physicians, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare. Our mission is to improve the health of patients, families, and communities by serving the needs of family physicians with professionalism and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to align AAFP's member priorities with the evolving political environment
  • Manage FamMedPAC, the Family Medicine Political Action Committee, to support bipartisan efforts in leading the policy conversation about patient health
  • Oversee the disbursement of campaign contributions to Congressional candidates and incumbents, ensuring compliance with Federal Election Commission laws
  • Collaborate with the Government Relations team to build and maintain key relationships with policymakers and stakeholders
  • Represent FamMedPAC at DC PAC events and AAFP national conferences
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, plus a minimum of four years of work experience
  • Experience with PAC platforms, such as DDC and Coalescent
  • Solid understanding of Federal Election Commission laws
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects on short timelines
What We Offer:
