Job Duties:
**Patient Care and Support**
Providing exceptional patient care and support is at the heart of this role. You will be responsible for ensuring patients receive the best possible care, including assisting with daily activities, personal hygiene, and providing physical support as needed.
**Communication and Collaboration**
Effective communication and collaboration with physicians, caregivers, and nurses are crucial in this role. You will be responsible for obtaining information about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities, and reporting any changes to medical or nursing staff.
**Vital Signs and Observations**
You will be responsible for measuring and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate, as requested by staff. Additionally, you will note observations of patient behavior, including complaints or physical symptoms, to nurses.
**Certification and Training**
Staying up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure is essential in this role. You will be responsible for maintaining certification in Basic Life Support.
