Job Summary
Lane Enterprises Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the plant's electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical System Maintenance: Oversee and perform preventative and reactive maintenance duties for the plant's electrical systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance of up to 480v 3 phase electrical systems.
- Equipment Installation and Repair: Direct and perform the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment, including wiring and conduit installation.
- Work Order Management: Create and manage work orders to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Inventory Management: Responsible for ordering parts and maintaining adequate spare parts inventory.
- Inspection and Testing: Create and maintain an inspection program for all motors and electrical equipment, and test existing equipment to determine if components need to be upgraded or replaced.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic System Maintenance: Inspect and troubleshoot Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, and repair lift trucks and other equipment as needed.
- Facility Maintenance: Overhaul process systems and equipment to ensure optimal equipment uptime, and maintain facility housekeeping.
Requirements
- Industrial Electrical Experience: Minimum of ten years maintenance/electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Electrical Knowledge: Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- PLC Programming: Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, and may occasionally be exposed to dangerous machinery, extreme weather conditions, and extreme noise.
