We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Geriatric Care Specialist to join our team at LCB Senior Living, LLC. As a key member of our Resident Care Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and implementation of resident care services, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Supervise and direct the daily work assignments of resident care associates, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Evaluate resident needs and develop service plans, collaborating with the Resident Care Director and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Provide direct care to residents, administering medications and performing various nursing tasks as required.
- Participate in community marketing efforts, promoting our community and services to potential residents and their families.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
- At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting, with previous health experience in hospital and/or community settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
