We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Lead Respiratory Therapist. This pivotal role plays a key part in ensuring the well-being of our patients and the success of our respiratory therapy department.
In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will work closely with our Shift Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy to ensure that all aspects of patient care are met. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Assigning tasks and making shift assignments to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Conducting performance reviews and supervising staff to promote professional growth and development.
- Providing training and orientation to new employees to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Participating in the delivery of exceptional patient care by working collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team.

Your Qualifications
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- A valid Respiratory Therapist license from the Missouri Board for Respiratory Care and NBRC RRT credential.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required within 30 days of hire).
- ACLS and NRP certifications (required within six months of hire).
- A minimum of two years of respiratory care experience, with preference given to candidates possessing experience in a supervisory role.
