We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Applications Engineer at HERMLE USA, Inc. in Franklin, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer applications training and support in-house and at customer facilities
  • Perform time studies, test cuts, and machine demonstrations as needed
  • Program multi-axis applications using CAM systems
  • Assist in reviewing applications aspects of RFQs and turnkey projects and feasibility
  • Provide sales support at trade shows and open house events
  • Develop leading machining processes
  • Provide customer production analysis and support on-site
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field experience
  • 4-6 years' experience in machining and/or training
  • Knowledge in the field of 5-axis machining
  • Control knowledge of CNC controls, Heidenhain/Siemens preferred
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Teamwork and high level of performance
  • Location: Franklin, WI (headquarters of Hermle USA)
  • Extensive travel is required (including international)
