Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Occupancy Specialist to join our team in Winchester, IL. This role is perfect for someone who excels in customer service, has a solid understanding of leasing laws and tenant rights, and thrives in both independent and team settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement all leasing and occupancy policies for housing programs in line with HUD, USDA, and other regulations.
  • Perform move-in, annual, and interim recertifications for subsidy eligibility.
  • Maintain tenant files in compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address tenant concerns and ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Handle customer relationship tasks, including responding to inquiries and resolving conflicts.
  • Monitor and enforce occupancy activities as required by policies.
  • Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants.
  • Act as a stand-in for the Administrative Assistant when needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required).
  • Strong knowledge of leasing agreements, tenant rights, and fair housing laws.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on conflict management and relationship building.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in typing, filing, math, and computer software.
  • Ability to conduct unit inspections and travel to seminars and trainings as needed.
  • Driver's License (Required).
  • Ability to commute to Winchester, IL 62694 (Required).

  • Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
