At WelbeHealth, our Home Care Assistants play a crucial role in delivering essential support to our clients within their residences. They are integral to the care planning process, collaborating as equal members of our interdisciplinary team (IDT). We are committed to providing exceptional care for our clients while fostering a positive work atmosphere for our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Caregiver will deliver direct personal care and assist with daily living activities (ADLs) for WelbeHealth clients in their homes. This includes, but is not limited to, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and assisting with mobility during transfers.
- Support clients with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as laundry, light housekeeping, shopping, and more.
- Assist with light meal preparation and feeding, ensuring clients receive proper nutrition and hydration.
- Facilitate safe transfers in and out of clients' homes and provide medical escort services during transportation to appointments as required.
